TheSeniorSafety Supervisoris responsible for ensuring the overall working conditions compliance with local and corporate occupational safety and health regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• SSHO for one section of the KC Levee project
• Assists project team with daily pre-planning activities
• Execute risk assessments and JHA process of identifying hazards and putting controls in place
• Provides proactive leadership and assumes ownership of continuing improving our overall safety culture; anticipating problems and providing effective solutions
• Conducts regular site safety inspections,reports deficiencies, analyzes inspection and incident data to identify opportunities to develop preventive and corrective practices
• Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with all local, state, & federal regulations
• Conducts, develops, and oversees all job wide related safety training
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and conclusions

Qualifications:

• Required - minimum 5 years of safety and health experience in Heavy/Civil Construction
• B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health or related discipline, preferred
• Exercise excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
