Olin Winchester, LLC ("Winchester"),considered one of the world's leading ammunition manufacturers,is seeking aDrafter at the Oxford, Mississippi facility. As a Drafter, you will utilize the latest computer-aided design software to prepare drawings for various engineering projects exercising some discretion in interpreting written descriptions, verbal instructions, and sketches.

Drafter Essential Functions*:

* Prepare engineering design detail work based on general design parameters.

* Utilize the latest CAD technology to create layouts, drawings, and designs for new or existing equipment and facilities.

* Coordinate and support internal and external resources in the installation, debug/start-up of new or modified existing equipment and facilities.

* Carry out, under minimum supervision, complex assignments dealing with facilities, equipment, or processes requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.

* Prepare bills of material, specifications, and work orders as well as charts, graphs, maps, and diagrams as needed.

Drafter Position Requirements*:

* Associate's or Technical Degree; emphasis in engineering and/or mechanical drawing preferred.

* One to two years of engineering drafting experience within a manufacturing field.

* Experience with 3D CAD Modeling; Inventor preferred, AutoCad experience a plus.

* Ability to travel to other Winchester locations to support audits and other projects as needed.

* This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required

* This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

* PriorWinchesterexperience in a relevant position preferred.
